On Saturday November 7, 2009 Alamo CrossFit hosted the Fittest Games Competition. The event included a male and female individual competition and a team competition. The individual competition required completing two WODs as prescribed in a set time. The two WODS were Diane and Eva done approximately 4 hours apart.
There were 47 individual competitors that started the day. Only a handful were able to complete the WODs as prescribed. F.T.S.-Elite athlete, Ron Fielder won third place in the men's individual competition by completing Diane in 10.34 and Eva in 42.44 as prescribed. Ron was out of contention after the first WOD but was able to come back in the Eva WOD by having the fastest time of all competitors.
1st and 2nd went to G7 CrossFit out of Laredo, Tx. Third place came home to Uvalde, Tx. There were CrossFitters form San Antonio, Houston, Austin, Laredo, and Uvalde. Follow Ron's Blog to read more about the event.
